AnGG New York’s fashion forward silhouettes are characterized by the use of natural fabrics such as linen and Cotton in combinations with its ultra versatile, comfortable, easy-to-wear, practical and timeless style.
The Designer
Her fashion talent was honored at Parsons where her acclaimed thesis collection led to a nomination as Designer of the Year in 2008 and an personal invitation from Donna Karan to design her Urban Zen Collection. Gao and her collections has been Featured in WWD, Vogue, Style.com, Daily Candy, Essence Magazine, among many others. Gao Operated her own standalone boutique in Park slope from 2009 to 2014 during this time, she was also selected to partake in the pilot year of DENYC- a Mini- MBA scholarship program established in 2012 as one of Bloomberg’s six initiatives sponsored by the NYC Economics Chapter and FIT to encourage small business growth with investment grants. Currently, Gao teaches at Parsons the New School for Design While developing the next chapter of her brand- a life-style/holistic initiative incorporating fashion, healthy living, and alternative medicine.
